At our wedding, I spoke about why I loved Roger. One of the things I said was that when we were first going out he told me to look up at the tops of the buildings on Grafton Street. I was gobsmacked because they were gorgeous and I couldn’t believe I had been living in Dublin so long and never looked up at them. After my speech, my Aunt came over and told me that she really liked what I had said because when her son was 5 he said the same thing to her and she had been looking up ever since and loving it.

Over the last few years or probably more, I’ve kind of forgotten to look up but was reminded the other day when I was sitting on the Gobus on the South Quays and saw this amazing building peeking out from Abbey Street over the North Side of the Quays… So now I’m looking up again and loving it.
